Castillo de Santa Catalina is a palace of Moorish revival style, built in 1932, ordered by Martinez Manuel Loring, Count of Mieres. The palace was built by the French and Levard Lahalle architects and is integrally linked with the ancient fortress city, ordered by King Philip IV in 1624. From its historical beginnings, Castillo de Santa Catalina has now become a hotel historical (BIC), maintaining the luxury and foot of a stately palace. This historic hotel has been refined to provide a suitable and comfortable accommodation for its guests, with all the comfort and luxury of a modern hotel. The hotel opened in 2006 has two junior suites and six deluxe rooms. Each room has been individually designed with its own style and personality.
